New ATM and Visa Check Cards Coming Soon!!

To better serve you, our customers, Signature Bank wants to announce that coming in June, we will be converting to a new ATM and Visa Check Card processor. Look for your new cards to arrive sometime the last week in May. They will not go “live” until June 8th so don’t destroy your current card(s) before then!

We strive to find ways to better serve you so we are very excited to make this change. Some of the benefits you will see are “real time” access to deposited funds and the ability to choose your own PIN numbers. Watch your mail for more information to be coming soon. We have also included some common questions below.

Signature Bank ATM Card

VISA Check Card

Why a new card?
Signature Bank is changing card processors to provide better service and benefits to our card holders. Including “Real-Time” access to your accounts and selecting your own PIN numbers.

What if I have recurring payments on my old Visa Check Card (for example: monthly bill for satellite television or cellular phone)?
You must contact the biller and provide your new Visa Check Card information to prevent any late fees or interruption in service.

If I have more than one card, how do I know which PIN belongs to which card?
One of the new services Signature Bank is offering its card holders is the ability to choose your own PIN numbers.

How/When can I change my PIN?
You may come in to Signature Bank at any time on or after Monday, June 8th to change your PIN.

What if I did not receive my card or PIN?
If you do not receive your card by June 4th or your PIN by June 5th, call us at once so we may check your address and order a new card if necessary.

Where can I use my card?
You may use your card at any ATM with your PIN. You may also use your Visa Check Card at any merchant that accepts VISA with or without your PIN.

What should I do with my old card?
You will need to destroy your old card. It will no longer be useful after June 7th.

What if my card will not work on Monday, June 8th?
Check to be sure you are using your new card; VISA Check Cards should have a grey background with a large Signature Bank logo, and ATM Cards are blue and white. If you are using the new card with a PIN, double check that you are using the newly issued PIN, otherwise you may have success with the credit option bypassing the PIN altogether.

What is my daily limit?
Cards will have a daily purchase limit of $500 and a daily ATM limit of $300. You may call or come in to the bank to inquire about having these limits adjusted if necessary.

Do I have to call in to activate my card?
Yes, you will receive activation instructions with your card.

What if the merchant wants to use my Visa Check Card as a credit card?
This means you will sign for the transaction rather than enter your PIN. The transaction will come directly out of your account the same as if you had entered your PIN.
